This Privacy Policy explains how Startup Hive LLC, a Georgia limited liability company ("Startup Hive," "we," "us"), collects, uses and protects information on this website, through our forms, and when we call, text or email you about a property.
1. Information we collect.
When you request an offer: your name, phone number, email, the property address and your answers about the property (occupancy, condition, timeline, best time to reach you). If you check the text box: a record of your consent (the wording you agreed to, the date and time, your IP address and browser). When we talk: notes from calls and messages about your property. Automatically: basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, to keep the site working and secure.
We also use public records about properties and owners (for example county tax and court records) to find and evaluate properties.
2. How we use it.
To evaluate your property and make an offer; to contact you about your request by phone, email, and text if you opted in; to schedule visits and prepare contracts; to keep records required by law; and to protect our site and business.
3. Text messages.
If you opt in, we use your mobile number only to text you about your property request. Up to 6 messages per month; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver messages on our behalf.
4. When we share information.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that run our systems for us: website hosting (Lovable), our database (Supabase), automation (n8n), phone and text delivery (Twilio), call answering (Retell AI) and email (Resend).
- To complete a sale you agree to: with the closing attorney or title company, and, if we assign our contract, with the investor who takes it over.
- With investors on our buyers list, we share property details (location, condition, photos, numbers), not your phone number or email, unless you agree or the deal moves to closing.
- When required by law or to protect our rights.
5. How long we keep it.
Request and call records: up to 3 years after our last contact. Consent records and signed contracts: at least 7 years. You can ask us to delete your information sooner unless we must keep it by law or for a deal in progress.
6. Your choices.
Reply STOP to stop texts. Ask us not to call. Email contact@startup-hive.com to see, correct or delete your information.
7. Children.
This site is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes.
We will post any update here with its effective date.
